Teachers' perceptions of the learning difficulties of Braille in Visually Impaired Children ; Percepciones de docentes de un colegio limeño sobre las dificultades de aprendizaje del braille en niñez con discapacidad visual
Target Summary. Explore what are the difficulties of the visually impaired primary school (DV) of the Limeño Luis Braille school based on the opinion of its teachers. The aim is also to identify the extent to which students' contexts influence their learning. Similarly, it will be analysed how school actors (administration and teachers) can have some impact on Braille teaching. In addition, mention should be made of external factors (government and society) that may also influence. Methodology. Following a qualitative approach, interviews were conducted with all primary school teaching staff, using recordings and transcripts which were then encoded. Results. Among the main findings, five difficulties were identified, linked to national and institutional arrangements for DV people, resources and participation of parents in the life of pupils with multiple disabilities, students with multiple disabilities, as well as the DV, educational materials and, lastly, the collaboration and specialisation of teaching staff. Conclusions. In conclusion, these five difficulties are the most prevalent and may affect the student's performance. ; Resumen Objetivo. Explorar cuáles son las dificultades del alumnado de primaria con discapacidad visual (DV) del colegio limeño Luis Braille con base en la opinión de sus docentes. Asimismo, se busca identificar el grado de influencia de los contextos del estudiantado en su aprendizaje. Se analizará, de igual manera, cómo los agentes de la escuela (administración y profesorado) pueden causar algún impacto en la enseñanza del braille. Además, se mencionarán los factores externos (gobierno y sociedad) que puedan también influenciar. Metodología.
